For reaching the other routes:
Simon: Don't sit still during the chapter 3 attack on the castle. Snoop on Isaac fighting at the front gate and when he's distracted, escape the castle.
Anthony: At the beginning of chapter 3 take a walk in the courtyard and notice the vines growing on the wall. During the castle attack, escape from the wardrobe and try to escape from the courtyard.

So far so good. I love how each route has a different take on your situation. Perspectives change with your player characters mood too which is a nice touch. Hope you keep adding more to all of them but have to admit Anthony's route is a fav so far.
Also did it explain who exactly Eve is in the routes or did I just miss it along the way. I only heard your soul bound say something flippant about the person.
Last but not least I am not gonna lie I kinda want a route with Nathaniel just to mess with his head xD

Jonas appeared in one of my other games (Arcane Dice Wars) along with a character named Eve. Hii, I just played Anthony's update, and why does it end with "The End"? Is that the ending of this route 😭? Btw, I really like the artwork and the storyline you've developed in the game; it's very polished and captivating.❤

If you reach a part of the story that says "The End" it means you reached a bad ending. I would rollback to the last menu of choices and try a different choice. Sorry for any confusion!
All the routes will end at the same amount of chapters so if you want to move to the next chapter you should read a message like this (at least until the the game is completed.)

Out of the three ROs, we really do settle with Isaac into a romantic relationship the quickest. I like how our relationship with both Isaac and Nathan is intertwined almost, we really grow as a trio organically— which gives me found family vibes! It is cool that we become a partner-in-crime, livening the place and their lives tremendously.
Isaac’s ending in the latest chapter was really interesting. I assume that the Church somehow got their hands on the Sacred Ashes ritual based on the priest’s red eyes. I also didn’t expect to kill off Anthony! I guess Simon is done for as well, since Nathan handled him.
We are starting to see the larger picture slowly come together in the other routes, but I think it is in Anthony’s route that we find the biggest missing puzzle piece: specifically, our meeting with the devil, the man (dragon) himself Jonas. And he is the reason why I have a huge bias towards Anthony’s route! Yes, I love the wolf-man and how he barely bothers hiding his affection towards us, but at the same time we learn more about Jonas, the guide behind the scenes.
After we called out his name and he appeared, I was taken aback by his adoration when said how he can’t help but come to our side whenever we say his name. That was so beautiful and so intimate; that moment crystalized as something precious to me. This character, who has roamed other universes in other games, who has been for the most part, cryptic and mysterious, revealed more of himself than he ever had in that scene. I don’t think there is anyone like him; he truly is a unique character— you’ve created something very special with him. It makes me wonder if there will be any other Old Ones besides him and Eve? Or will there be more lore on the draconic civilization they hail from? In ADW, I recall that his species suffered an ideological split when it came to the plan of implementing ‘gods’ to guide humans. I guess what I really want to know is: will there ever be a spin-off where we date that dragon. Or will he be explored further in EXG? Maybe a spin-off? Can you hear the desperation in my words, author?
Moving on: for Simon, I appreciate that the romance with him seems slower, which makes sense considering his occupation and our past. For some reason, the romantic interactions we get from his route gives me the most satisfaction out of the three. I believe it is because of that heavy tension of his work, his ideology, conflicting with our livelihood and agency. It makes me wonder how they will confront that elephant more deeply going forward when their relationship strengthens. I find the tidbit of Simon caring what bread we like so freaking cute. And actually, I find it interesting that it is HIS route where we would have to choose a side: Church or Isaac.
Since I played Isaac route first, I always assumed the narrative would force us to choose between the Church or the Naturalist Institution, since they are naturally on opposite sides of the world's ideological spectrum.
Also worth noting that it is the Naturalist Institution where the MC has to scour for the Eternal Oath gem that Jonas had imparted in them (am I right? I hope I didn't misread ☠️). I’m not sure how to articulate my thoughts on Simon route— but I’m just really curious about this Natural Institution!
Also: I have suggestions. For those special CGIs, the text box on the bottom quickly comes in and covers most of the lower half of the images. I think it would be cool if we had a gallery we can access to peruse these pictures. Another thing, I don’t know if it is just me, but my save slots are limited to nine pages on the MAC version. Is it possible to increase it?

For your suggestions, I thought that you should be able to keep making save files past 9 pages and it would make more pages but I haven't tested it on mac. I will try to look into it but it might take me some time. Also for CGIs I think it's a good idea, as some of the elaborate frames also cover a bit of the pictures. I'm thinking I will go back and add some features when I finish (perhaps a persistent check for all the unique deaths as well). I'll definitely keep a CG gallery suggestion in mind.
on to some spoilers:
About Jonas and the Old Ones, I have no plans to introduce more of them or make more "new" games though I do have at least one "side game" planned for Allele. You're right about the Old One's lore. The dragons absorbed so much of their world's energy, they learned to become immortal and disrupted the cycle of life, causing their world to die. Once the writing was on the wall, the faction split into two groups, one wanting to live out the rest of their years and the other to sacrafice themselves to restore the balance of energy and program the "gods" to oversee this reconstruction in their absence. Jonas was one of the Old Ones that programmed the "gods". Eve stance during this split was never said canonically but it was mentioned I believe somewhere that she and Jonas didn't always get along, hinting that she might have been part of the opposing faction.
The side game planned will be called Allele: Devil's Hand and it's going to be a simplified poker game you play with the LIs on a snowy winter day. simple enough, but I am planning to try to add betting, bluffing and "penalties" to make it more fun and interesting. Of course it might also be fun to add Jonas as a "boss" character to challenge haha. This is planned to be this year's OtomeJam project (much like how Gacha Date was a fun little break from ADW). Fun fact about Sonetta is that he has a very cold body temperature which causes him to shiver every time he feels the wind blow on his back (this mf has a lot of backless undergarments just for fashion like boi be normal for once) xD

my mc writing a shopping list to find more comfortable clothing for the other MCs ... a pair of pants for rachel, some flat shoes and a scarf or jacket for sonetta... its isaac's fault for being so negligent, so he shouldn't mind if a few items of clothing go missing from his closet, right ?
i'm happy you like it ! ooh, i think mizi is such an interesting character (probably my favorite from the series)... if my mc were to discover sonetta's other personality i think they'd feel pretty conflicted. obviously the discrepancy is because he's scared and doing whatever he can to survive in a cruel situation, but my mc would much rather he be upfront and honest with them, even if those feelings are 'ugly' . otherwise they'd probably feel insecure and overthink any future interactions with sonetta ("is he only speaking to me because it's convenient ? am i making him uncomfortable but he's afraid to speak up?" etc.) and try to distance themself from him lol;; but hmm, sonetta sneaking them gifts might help dispel any of those worries, since they figure he wouldn't go out of his way to do something for them if he truly disliked them.

It's sort of pitiful for Sonetta? Considering he'll never ever let anyone find out about it and would often go (missing)to the basement to cry out his feelings without being watched by anyone else other than the "Others" >< he thinks his feelings are nothing important so he just holds it in (after all he's been doing this since he was a child) until he's back somewhere he knows no one would go in willingly. He's aware it's bad but why tell it to anyone after hiding it for so long? He'd be shock if Hanji or any of other other mcs found out ><
another fun fact about Sonetta is that he used to be 6'1 but his height didn't get enough development from the blood so he's about 5'7 & 1/2 now LMAOO (that's why he's wearing the boots too)

my mc studies/works in the medical field so they look at the situation pretty objectively. clearly simon is quite capable judging by how he's still alive despite conducting those crazy body modifications , so they're willing to be studied because they think he has a real shot at advancing current treatment/technology. if simon kills them in the process, the devil will bring them back. if their body is damaged, it's fine since they think they're pretty insignificant anyway . and if simon ever goes too far my mc makes it very clear they are not above putting worms in his bed. so they're fine with the situation LOL
i think your art style is very pretty as well ! you said you weren't the best at art but it looks so good to me.... the details in your mc's base outfit and the texture on isaac's clothing are very well done and the colors you pick all feel cohesive and nice to look at !! i hope you'll post more art here!

With my MC he thinks he's cool headed and cynical but he's actually extremely emotionally driven and gets attached to people easily 🤣 He's also a bit dumb so that's why he thinks biting Issac is him getting retribution instead of yknow- exactly what Issac wants looool.

ooh i definitely recommend playing ADW! allele is much darker in tone so it'll be a bit of a different experience but the game has a loootttt of charm. if you like found family dynamics, seeing people change and grow as they become more comfortable with themselves/with you , battle systems (WITH ANIMATED SKILLS!!!! JEN IS SO COOL), and people doting on you LOL, i think you would enjoy it. the world is very intricate and none of the characters feel two-dimensional at all, and if you don't want to romance anyone, the game never forces romance upon you; maxing out your bonds with each character platonically feels just as important to your relationship with them as romancing them. it's a very very comforting game while also having a really compelling story. i'm not exaggerating when i say i've thought of it almost every day since i've played it a year ago !!! it had such an impact on me that it made me start drawing again !

Game is pretty longer than Allele but ı think you would like it ıf you have time! you dont have to play it to understand this game but ı think knowing there is roots going deeper than this game is fun? anyway ı would also recommend the game and since Hanji explained everything greatly ı will only add that game has 2 main pathways you can choose yourself ! ^^ well game observes your actions and gives you points regarding them which can lead you to certain main route but you can always manipulate those points game give you to unlock other main route and explore ^^

I like how Simon smuggled himself Cleopatra-style into the mansion just to get an audience with Isaac. It made me like him even more—and I didn’t even know that was even possible. 🤣🖤 (unless I misunderstood and Nathaniel actually dragged him there by force)

Ah actually Simon doesn't have a reason in Isaac's route to seek him out ( since he wasnt motivated by the MC ) so sadly he was just unfortunately dragged by Nate who recognized him from the siege.

Thanks for checking out my game! Because Jonas loves trolling, if you have blood to give, he will take it but you can still progress without "defeating" him. Defeating him is possible even after using blood, but you have to balance perfectly. Hope this helps!

Hi There! I just updated the wiki and we will try to add more detailed hints in the futture, but basically to get Simon's route, don't sit still in the closet during the castle attack. Leave the bedroom and follow the sounds of the battle as it gets pushed out the front gate. Escape from the castle when Isaac and Nate are distracted. To get Anthony's route, take a walk in the courtyard at the start of chapter 3 before the attack. During the attack, escape the closet and go to the courtyard and climb the vines on the wall to escape and run into Anthony. Hope that helps!

Helloo!! dont worry you can pass mother lupa's judgement easily by balancing out all bars at ''DANGER''writing without going any further ^^ you can also get strong in one ascept and use your chance that shattering the bar you can encounter with your aspect skill for mini reminder:
rage bar- power skill
lust bar- empathy skill
lure bar- logic skill
but dont forget that you also need to have alot of blood to open your skills so you will only have one skill using chance while convincing mother Lupa
But again, you dont have to use any skill as long as you balance your answers perfectly at limit ^^

The game is very loosely based in the 17th century when the MC was born and then culture kind of got stagnant for the next 800 years of plague so when non-necessities like fashion/technology/art didn't evolve much while medicinal did progress. But none of this is scientific or historical. XD;;
I was wondering what time frame the game took place in, I also love it when creators make their games and or stories in a time period based before the norm, I recently read a book based in 150 B.C and I loved it, the way they dressed and talked was just so...what you would expect I guess?

I did tell him because I'm playing as myself after all, and, despite that first unpleasant impression we had of him, the political stakes are so high that withholding any information from this point onward might cause more harm than good (imo) but I'm tempted to start a whole new playthrough where I lie through my teeth and stick to it till the very end to see what happens (something I rarely do in games in general!)

So as you know I am a solo dev and I work to keep my writing within reasonable scope. Yet I still believe in making narrative games require player input regularly with decisions that feel like they make a narrative difference. I do this largely by a combination of short term variation and long term value assessment. I may also allow myself 1 major point of structured story branching. (In ADW it was siding with the oldones or the gods, in this game its picking an LI route. this is a story multiplier from the moment its implemented so i only allow myself to do this once before the endings) So building stats like PP, EP, LP overtime will shape some short term variations (immediate responses and "variations" of the main story but do not change the main path to the ending.) They are the "seasoning" of the story that I feel like can be adjusted to the players individual taste but does not meaningfully change the dish. A cake is still a cake, whether its vanilla or chocolate. With enough seasoning, the player can feel like this cake was made to order (at least this is the goal! To have it feel like it's personalized somewhat to your tastes) At the endings is where I really have to pay the piper as the dev. for every path and every flavor I will make a separate outcome so in the case of this game, it will be based on factors such as 1.character route 2. PP, EP, LP and 3. relationship markers (trust, attraction, dependance.)
certain flags may add a longer stretched out"variation" from these main paths such as whether or not you tell Simon the mc is subject 001. He has foreshadowed meeting with Isaac, so there's a strong hint that he will find out either way. So in short, no, there's no major story path divergence. Just minor flavor variation.
Well that's a relief? 😂 Although I did tell him precisely for that reason. I didnt trust Isaac to keep his mouth shut about it at all so might as well tell him myself lol 😂

Chapter 5 Simon = Cold and calculating, ready to experiment on MC without a second thought
Chapter 6 Simon = A stupid oaf who gets off feeding the Pokemon he brought home 🤣
He planned on raising the pokemon for the purpose of getting badges and sustaining his career, only to end up spoiling it with customized toys/outfits and sharing pics on social media.
That was a long while.
I feelalmost bad since I have been playing this game since 9pm, but it is just so good!

I feel as though I should bring this up.
I was playing in chapter five a little after Anthony comes into Simon's home.
Around the time where Simon was talking about how it probably wasn't wise to show his face again and then Anthony was saying how he didn't really have a choice, Anthony's character became pixilated and an error screen appeared on my game, then it went away and he has been like this for the past 25 minutes.

edit: I checked the game but my device failed to open web version while downloaded file had no problem with it. I am guessing you were playing the game with web version and sadly ı think game file is started to get too big for engine to run it which creates this ''lags'' in the game because ı also saw the pixelated sprites during my play on web before too. If its ok with you switching to downloaded files would give you alot smoother experience in game since with new upcoming updates web engine might not even open the game...
Hmm, yes I think this is probably lag from the web build sadly. Web build might have to stay in a demo state while final build is download only due to the size. I was able to run it fine on my devices but I also have a decent connection I think?
I guess that would make sense.

During the dinner event, if you have the skill intimidate (unlocked at 5 power) you can avoid death from going over the rage bar threshold. When you use this skill, Isaac will be slapped. Hard. XD GL~

Hi there! If you are asking about Anthony and Simon, yes their routes are being updated at the same rate. During chapter 3, you have to escape from the castle during the attack to meet either of them. To meet Anthony, you need to escape through the courtyard (having inspected it before the attack) and to meet Simon you have to escape through the front gate when Isaac is distracted. Yes ,I found the routes rather quickly cuz of trying every choice . I also didnt find the survival sequences hard at all ,just balancing and using the skills accordingly and quite fun actually . I think the game is quite well balanced ,anything else and it would be too easy .
I just struggled to find that isaac biting scene that I found easily when I played the game the first time. Thats why I am checking If I missed any 'secret scenes ' in anthonys /simons routes.

in simons new route while simon was leaving his house he will ask you about is there anything you want like some bread. you should tell him you prefer blood then you should pick you want to take a bite before he goes to be honest ıts not super hidden scene but ı kind of missed it myself while play-testing ^^;;

I'm not sure if these scenes would qualify as "hidden" scenes but there are some scenes at only trigger when the MC has certain passive skills that are learned at 15 (exploit, intuit, observe). These scenes are not necessary to progress, (sometimes they will save a character from death, but these deaths are always avoidable by picking other choices.) Also there is a very difficult challenge to pass in Simon's route if you fail the stealth, you can survive Anthony's transformation with max empathy and the discussions about Anthony have variations from the default version.
I see! >-<;; well ı dont really recall any spesific scene but there is also a small one just in case you want to see;
If you collect 15+ emphaty in İsaac's route in last chaptet you can go to the basement and then a small hidden scene will get unlocked by emphaty power. About other routes ı dont really recall any for now ^^;;
