Performance Update:
Lots of Programming rebuilt for better efficiency and easier implementation of future content
Visual Assets converted and compressed for smoother display of animations and smaller overall project size in relation to the number of new assets added.
Music, Voice and SFX updated
Combat Graphical Update:
- Random Item Drop system added for Beast Encounters
- New Flashy Skill Trigger Animations!
- Revised wager calculations
- double and triple dice bonus have visual display
- Value of morale skills displayed + bond bonus displayed
- Loyalty increase displayed as well as if a unit is ready to have a bond conversation displayed
- decrease/increase in Gold or item drop
- Add sparkle to certain animations
- Names should display with proper capitalization and spacing.
Added Inventory System:
- Shop - Buy, Sell, Refine, Craft- Beasts drop common,rare and precious items now instead of gold+wager system
- Shops restock inventory daily. Refinement and Crafting is limited to one per day. The shop at the forest camp and Brookhaven act independently.
- Tavern- Recruit, Converse, Gift- Units available for recruitment will update daily. Units already recruited will no longer be offered. One unit per tavern can be recruited daily. The tavern at the forest camp and Brookhaven act independently.
- Bestiary- Soon to come with mission 4- precious eggs can be raised as pets to farm materials.
- Beast drops are as follows: Precious 1%, Rare 10%, Common 89%
Adjustments morale skill:
- Activate Skill Cost down to 2
- Lucky Strike cost down to 4
- Added new Morale Skill at hero level 4 “Loaded Dice”
- Loaded Dice costs 3 Mana: All dice rolls of [guild.name] will be 2 or higher for one round. There's a chance all rolls will be 3 or higher and this chance increases with higher bond levels
Combat Adjustments:
- Reroll includes bond bonus to final dice score
- Katnir's Dustcloud is slightly buffed for activation trigger 50% on enemy dice rolls of front/mid/rear 2/4/6 from 4/6/8.
Revised Menus:
- Added Menu Button to access menu more easily
- Added Mission Tab to track Objectives
- Added Items Menu to track items
- Add ‘push’ movement arrow buttons instead of menu options to navigate dungeons in a north,east,west, south directions
Updated Background Art:
- Replaced all AI assisted images with hand drawn and painted.
Added Daily System:
- One bond conversation / quip per unit per daily cycle
- Recruit+shop centers refresh options on daily cycle
- Certain Events/bond levels are Time/Event locked
- Added dreams- certain dreams will trigger based on events/bond levels and in game days
- Dreams about guild members will grant +3 Loyalty with that unit
Revised Main Story/Chat systems/Bond Conversations:
- New bond conversation sprites for clearer expressions and slight redesign of casual outfits.
- Elite Bond conversations lengthened and revised. Only one conversation can be initiated per day. Loyalty needed is reduced as well as many more story oppotunities to gain loyalty have been added. To make the bonding correspond with story progression and minimize grind, bond levels are gated by loyaly and mission completion.

- Revised and added more elite unit quips that occur in certain locations/bond levels and certain game progression
- Story edited and missions lengthened to be more cohesive to overarching narrative. Exploration chats revised to add more cultural references.
- Additional Exploration Conversations added and revised. New Event/submissions added to the Forest Maze.
- Beast subjugation revised: There is no more frenzy timer atm. Either they are frenzied at the start or they are not, with the exception of boss encounters.
Ground work for future updates include:
- Bond level 5 now requires a crafted item to initiate. All common Units have max bond level 5. Ultimate Morale Skills added to all elite units at bond lvl 6.
- Bond conversations will more naturally diverge towards romance/friendship routes. Romance flags must be triggered in bond convo 4 in order to have an eternal pendant accepted.
- Replacing Power, logic, empathy choice tracking with gods’ favor points to lead towards certain alliances/endings. Gods’ Favor can be tracked in the Hero character sheet. Favor status will be updated to show relative progress in accordance to the player’s mission progression and will be updated every time the player completes a mission in accordance to how their progress is on track for either favorable or unfavorable endings.
- New Faction added to the second half of the game- Will see an introduced glance at a few of these characters soon.
